Ever since I can remember I have loved the making of any kind of art. I have very clear memories of me in 1^st and 2^nd grade being immersed in making arts and crafts. I was taking ballet in first grade and progressing quite well. The school allowed us to leave during art class and have our ballet lessons. I came back to class the next day only to be so upset that I had missed an art project that I wanted to do. After school I went home and told my mom that I quit ballet.  I was not about to miss another art class!

I still love the creating and making of any kind of art. My business has evolved along the same path as my childhood. From stamping and scrapbook supplies to flea market finds to decorating and professional Faux painting to jewelry making. The glee of that little girl expressing herself is still felt as I work.  That is why as this site develops, you will see pieces of my work that have nothing to do with jewelry, just me with another idea to play with. This is the essence of Lopresto Expressions!

I am not in this project alone. I have a wonderful man that I have been married to for 7 years. Together we started with 6 children. Now our families have expanded and we have 3 more in the mix and two grandchildren that we adore. Since this page is about us, I would be remiss if I did not say that our first love is the love which is based in our belief and faith in God. May all that we do honor and give glory to Him.
